Hi friends!

I have been wanting to start one of these for some time now, and I feel like the beginning of the summer would be a splendid time! I can be quite forgetful, so I am just hoping that this blog can be a tool for helping me remember all my days :)

Not really sure what all I will be writing about, but I do know that I want to post some sort of video each day I write. I also have a funny little book called "Life's Little Instruction Book" that has 1,560 suggestions, observations, and reminders on how to live a happy and rewarding life. Pretty cool, huh?! I'll be throwing in one of those as well :)

As for today, I want to talk about a really great book that I am reading. It's called "Completely His: Loving Jesus Without Limits" by Shannon Ethridge. She is so encouraging and truly loves Jesus without limits! The chapter that I read today was all about how God's Word is His love letter to us. I don't know about you, but I love when people write me letters! I haven't had too many actual "love letters" in my day, but I do know how great it is to hear from someone that I haven't heard from in a while! Shannon discusses how we should constantly devour His word and approach it with the same sense of urgency that we experience when we have a letter to read from a loved one. I wonder what my relationship and understanding of God would like if I constantly remembered that the Bible is God's love letter written to me.

" Open His love letter to you, and approach each day with great anticipation of what God will do in you and through you. Inhale His revelations, let their sweet aroma intoxicate you, and allow the Creator to woo you and pursue you until you become completely His."
